Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. Monroe Christian School is a exclusively Christian private school. When she completed the requirements for high school she transferred to River Oaks High School in the summer before her junior year. There she was part of the drill and dance team. The school she attended briefly was Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. Ward began modeling when she was thirteen and left her high school to move to New York. She attempted acting a few years later. In the 1970s, Ward had a small part that was not credited in the soap opera daytime All My Children. Then she was offered a brief role on NBC's primetime teen-drama Malibu Shores. The role she was cast in was Meg Cummings, a virgin at Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, her career in film began by playing Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the romantic thriller The In Crowd. The film in theaters was not a success, but it did have an initial success on cable and on DVD. Ward played a support role on the show Shallow Hal the following year. Her other acting credits include several direct-to DVD films as well as appearances in television shows, including Friends. In 2009she was cast as Chloe Kmet, the mother to a little girl on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. She has a personal life that includes relationship with director David C. Robinson. They have one son named Cameron.
